Job Description

Interpersonal Violence Practitioner – Birmingham  – £39/hr (21.5 hours per week)

We’re currently supporting our client, who is seeking an Interpersonal Violence Practitioner to join their Domestic Abuse and Interpersonal Violence Team on a part-time agency basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the timely completion of Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) lateral checks and contributing to MAPPA (Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements) work — both crucial to public safety and offender management.

Key details:

  • Rate: £39/hr (Inside IR35)
  • Hours: 21.5 per week (2.5 days)
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Team: Domestic Abuse & Interpersonal Violence

Main responsibilities:

  • Complete and return all CTU lateral checks within 5 days of receipt
  • Undertake MAPPA-related tasks such as genograms, chronologies, and meeting attendance
  • Represent the Trust at MAPPA meetings, contributing to safety planning and the management of high-risk offenders

This role would suit an experienced Domestic Abuse Practitioner, IDVA, or Safeguarding Specialist with a background in multi-agency work and high-risk case management.
