Our client in Barnet is looking for a Social Worker - Mental Health. Reporting to the Team Leader/ Lead Practitioner for Adults and Communities this role entails delivering high-quality social work services in compliance with relevant legislation, divisional policies, and the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers.
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary setting to offer professional support to adults with mental health concerns and their caregivers, emphasising empowerment, recovery, and alignment with the Department of Health's Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework and the College of Social Work's mental health guidelines.

Role-specific responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments and plan personalised support packages.
- Conduct risk assessments and Mental Capacity Act assessments.
- Manage allocated caseload and engage in group work.
- Collaborate with local services and maintain relationships with other agencies.
- Support dual diagnosis cases and involve service users in assessments.
- Manage budgets and procure support plans.
- Chair and participate in reviews and meetings.
- Monitor and review support plans regularly.
- Maintain accurate records and promote safeguarding.
- Provide professional support, training, and uphold corporate values, including equality and diversity.
